Mr Bikes (PTY) Ltd has proudly brought in a well-engineered motorcycle to cater for the delivery motorcycle market in South Africa. The Nippons have been engineered to European Homologation Standards (ECE/EEC) which is the highest engineering seal of approval. Our motorcycles have been designed and developed to compete in Europe, South America, Eastern Europe and Asia.
The design of the motorcycle has been developed to exceed the minimum requirements of the ECE / EEC Homologation Standards. The first model is the Nippon 150. This is a motorcycle that has a weight capacity of over 287 kilograms. This allows the motorcycle to carry on average 60 kilograms of weight over long distances without damage to the engine, chassis, or suspension components.
This stunning royal blue is the first delivery motorcycle in South Africa with this colour. The paint quality is of the highest standards. The Nippon 150 gold logo is clear coated and will last for many years.
The front suspension is much beefier and designed to handle much higher speeds and loads than most 150cc motorcycles in South Africa and is designed to last many years of daily use. This suspension was chosen for South African size riders, speeds, road conditions and stock load capacity.
The rear box recommended for the Nippons allows for the full compliment of the full 35 items that is allowed by Checkers Sixty60.

The rear suspension has a twin large diameter spring design that caters for large rear load capacity that is required when doing deliveries.
The rear box bracket is custom welded from 6mm thick steel and joins to the chassis of the Nippon. This bracket acts as a crash protection for the rear of the Nippon in the event of a fall or slide. The premium ABS plastic moulded rear lockable box carries the full compliment of 35 items for Checkers SIXTY60. The box is waterproof and very resilient to falls and can be plastic welded if cracked. We call this a ‘lifetime’ box for the Nippons.
The instrument cluster is clear to read even at night and has a LED light that blinks rapidly to notify the driver that they are receiving a phone call. An important feature for delivery drivers.
Strong front disc brakes ensure the Nippon stops quickly and safely while carrying heavier loads and travelling at speeds of over 100 km/h.
A powerful yet frugal 150cc engine gets the Nippon to over 100 km/h. The Nippon has proven itself a true South African workhorse to many clients nationally since 2019. The Nippon engine has a breather system that gives it a top speed of 110km/h approximately and a very good fuel economy of 40-50 km per litre. The minimum range of the Nippon is over 600 kilometres per full tank of fuel as it has a large 15.5 litre fuel tank with an extra 2 litre reserve fuel capacity.
